Anybody use an arborist type saddle to hunt out of? They look pretty comfy except not sure about back support.
I messed around w/ my buddies Guido a bit but like my saddle better. Just looking for other options.

i used guidos web all last season after not being able to find a tree saddle. at first i didn't like it as much as my friends tree saddle, but after a few times of using it i found it to be more comfortable than the saddle. i stayed it all day multiple times during the rut, i have never been able to in any other treestand.

Spent a lot of time in arborist saddles. But I haven't bothered with them for hunting except to get into a stand without ladders. You're right, there's no real back support. At least not the kind you can lean back into and relax. Tough to just relax up in the tree and hang out in one spot. Fine if you're moving around the tree all day though.

I have in the past hunted out of a rock climbing seat, it is comfortable for me(I used to rock climbing the Marines). You can get them with shoulder harnesses as well. Check out REI and see what they have.
