I've had an shot both.  They are very similar.  I prefer the smooth interrupted lines of the Whip though I to probably shoot the Lynx much better due to the added mass in the riser.  Can't go wrong with either.  Being able to add longbow or recurve limbs to the lynx may be an advantage for some.  Shameless plug, I've got a lynx for sale CHEAP in the classifieds.

I have shot Whips for a number of years and had a Lynx combo for a couple of months when Dan first introduced them. The Lynx shot like my Whips and was slightly faster but the newer H.S. Classic Whips that I currently shoot close that slight gap and for me are absolutely the finest bows I've ever shot.
The Lynx does offer the option of having an extremely fine recurve with limbs made to the same riser. It also provides a bit more mass weight which many shooters like. It's an  understatement to say that there is no bad choice here.

Hard to go wrong with either.

At the end of the day, I'm a Whip guy.  To make the best of both worlds, i shoot a two-piece Whip.

I'm sure the Lynx is a more than fine bow. However, a classic whip is right there with the best of the best I have ever shot. Those bows just flat out work for me. I haven't tried an HS version, but all reports have been great...Mike

I own both and love them both. Shoot the Classic Whip a little better. You can not go wrong with any of Dans bows. Good Luck

I like the mass weight of the Lynx, and the lines of the whip.  For me the Lynx just shoots better
