Just put a nice red tail hawk feather on my bow and use puff powder too.
God Bless,

Been doing this many years and can't find a reason to change.  Go to your fly fishing supplies get a bag of bright marabou feathers and hunt. They will stay in your pockets for years, like lint. You only need pinch of of a feather and can see them forever.  Also stick to your sleave or the back of your glove.  Works great!  Term
Still looking for something I might of forgot.

The boys and I have always used a fluffy breast feather from a chukar on a fine piece of thread.  Tradition.

Thanks RedShaft. I have put a bunch of deer down while smoking. Never seemed to bother them much.

Main reason I quit is for my boys. I want to be able to keep up with them for a long time. Maybe even chase some elk in the mountains one of these days.

I  hot glue the dental floss to the tip of my bow, but I fray the end of the floss to make it more sensitive to the wind. I also use a bottle of talc powder.
