In my opinion, not talking traditional here, the Muzzy 100gr 3 blade is the best broadhead ever.

They are just as "traditional" as any other of the screw in heads, and one of my favorites too.

I was speaking in modern compound terms since the standard 3 blade Muzzy is not a cut on impact blade.  As it seems you have used them thru your trad bow I am curious as how it performed?  I have always wondered how they would work on game thru my longbow.  Due to the fact my longbow has much less penetration than my, used to own, compound I would assume my 2 blade BH would work better.  Since I have not tried it I could be very wrong.  May need to do a side by side hay bale test ( but screw on muzzys don't work well with woods).

Dang that press release came out last month?
We are still here and have been told that Muzzy will be kept seperate from Rage and we are all sister companies under the same umbrella corporation.  Seems to be a trend going around in the industry now.
The Muzzy Stump shoot is still a go this year and we are scheduled to be there, as for the future of the stume shoot, do not know but know for sure it will be this year.
I have been shooting regular Muzzy's on my recurves for over 20 years now and still do with no problems, in fact half my arrows in the quiver are Muzzy's and the others are Phantoms and does not matter to me which one I pull out to shoot something with.  I do shot heavy tip weighted carbon arrows and have no problem with penetration out of my 54# bows.  I do sharpen the trocar tip on a diamond stone and believe that helps.
Thanks for the concern and as far as we know we will still be here.
They'll be no quitters till we bag us some critters!

You might notice the difference in penetration between a 2 blade and a 3 blade if you were shooting a 25 lb. bow but anything above that and differences in penetration is meaningless. A lot of the discussion in this forum is fun to talk and argue about but it is often misleading to new bowhunters who think that it means anyting in the real world. ie... a slight difference in arrow weight or a slight difference in bow weight or a slight difference in vanes has no meaning in 99% of hunting situations. They are fun to discuss, thats it!

I think we should all keep Michelle and Fred in our prayers. I understand that they are currently working on fire lanes to keep that big fire from getting to them.

If the new owners have one once of business sense....they need to keep Mark Land and then give him a raise....
