Arrows for a new Tall Tines Recurve

I recieved my new bow from Barry not to long ago. I have always shot cedar arrows but I am interested in some type of carbon or other material. I would appreciate any information on various arrows that would work in my bow. It's 60" and 48# @ 28". By the way, the riser is brazilian rosewood with black limba limbs.

Axis/beman 500s or GT 3555s. You can put the 50 grain inserts in with 200 or 225 grain heads and they should fly. I am assuming you draw right around 28 and would want a 29 inch arrow.

Try FMJ 500's with 150-200 grain points. The shorter your draw length the heavier the point. Those or CX 150's with 200-250 gr. points. Brian makes a great bow!

My TT is 60", 53@28, and I'm using Axis 400 camo's(a tad stiffer than plain black) and FMJ's, 29.5, with 200gr heads...perfect flight.
I also tried 29.5", 500 FMJ's with 165 heads, and again...perfect flight.
I'd suggest the 500 camo Axis or FMJ's and play with length and point weight.
Nice bows!

I have a 51 # TT and it loves Carbon Express 90 or 150's, Trad only 400's or 500's and 2016 and 2018 aluminums. All these with from 150 grains up to 250 grains points fly fine from it.
Any 400-500 spine shafts should serve you well. If you plan to mostly target shoot go with the 500's if you want to hunt I'd go with the heavier 400's.

Thanks for the information. Also a side note about the bow. I named the bow 'lil barry'. Brian told me that the bow was made out of the same material that Barry Wensel's bow was made from. Said the bows were identical except mine didn't pull as much in draw weight. If it will only shoot half as good as Barry's!!!

Shoot some .500" spine arrows out of your TT and that will not be a problem.
Got any pictures of "Lil Barry"?
Maybe we could just start calling "Uncle" Barry, "Big" Barry? Hah!

I have a 50# TT that just loves axis arrows in the 400 spine.I cut 1 inch off and am shooting 175 grains up front with standard aluminum inserts. This combo is extremely accurate for me.
