Red Wing Hunter string length question
« on: July 07, 2012, 08:44:00 AM »
I was given a Red Wing Hunter (AMF Corp "Wing Archery").  It is a 52" recurve.  It needs a string and I am clueless on length or what to get.  Surely one of y'all know.  Thanks in advance.

Usually on recurves you need a string 4" shorter than the bows length. Get ahold of one of the sponsor string makers here and they will take care of you. I really like Oliverstacy's strings.
