Static Tips?

Someone explain them to be.  Trying to wrap my head around how they work, benefits, etc.

I'm not an expert when it comes to statics, but here's a personal write up that I did between a dynamic and static Stalker.  Hope it helps.

Does the static have more string angle given the same bow length and riser like the two bows in the stalker comparison?  Which ones works better for a longer draw at a give bow length or does it work out basically the same?
