help with classifieds
« on: July 14, 2012, 07:55:00 PM »
I'm looking to sell one maybe two hickory U-finish staves I have and no longer plan to use. Question one, how much does shipping typically cost?
Question two, Who ships them and how? Tubes i'm assuming?
Some advice for a first timer like myself from people who have sold thru the classifieds here before would be appreciated.thanks!   :)

How large is the package will affect shipping cost also. The limit is 84" total, that is length plus girth. If your package is larger then that you will get hit with an oversize charge. But usally around $20 + or - depending on where you are shipping to.You can pretty much calculate your shipping online with the USPS postage calculator.Just weigh your package on a bathroom scale and have the measurements and zip code,it will give you a close idea on cost of shipping.

It depends on the zone also. I shipped a takedown to Texas from NC and it was nearly $38.00. USPS.

Pick a zip as far away as you can for the lower 48 and run a check first.
