Hey guys, I just recently got a new bow. Two tracks ambush 60@28. I want to shoot wood, just love the way wood flies. Anyways I recently read a comment from a fellow trad ganger about the rule of 5. Basically for my setup i'd start at 60-65 spined arrows. Add 5 for fast flight string, so that'd put me at 65-70. add another 5 for being center cut, or in my case almost cut to center, and thats 70-75 with 125gr points. If i want to use say 160gr points i'd add another 5 in spine.
Does this sound right guys? I have a test kit right now and really like the way the 70-75 arrows shoot from this bow and also like the 75-80 arrows. My question is which to order? I want to order one dozen that i can use for everything. I'm gonna hunt hogs this september, deer this fall, and want to use them for elk and other large game. So should i order the 75-80 in order to increase overall arrow weight and penetration or stay with 70-75 and 125gr points?
Sorry if this is confusing guys, hopefully someone can help.
