I currently shoot at martin vision it shoots sweet. How different would it be if I went to a long bow. Do they shoot that different?

A little slower with a bit more bump upon returning to brace when you release. God Bless

A little slower, but with a heavy arrow the difference is negligible. So far as hand shock, maybe one day I will feel it but so far I never have.

I have one Bama R/D longbow and 2 straight limbed Bamas! they are all around the same poundage, the R/D is a little faster and is 4 inches shorter at 62in versus 66in!As Steve stated I never notice the handshock either!
