I need a insert for a 2117 shaft at 60 or 70 grs. I really don't know which inserts will work for the shafts or how to find the weights. I know you guys out there have a place for me to look other than 3R or KK.

Nobody makes exactly what you want but 3R does have these aluminum inserts that are threaded in the back to take PDP weights.

The last batch I ordered from Kustom King were also threaded in the back to add weight

You don't have to use the weights!! Why not just get a heavier point?
But if you want to add weight, buy a piece of threaded rod and screw into the back of the insert.  You can cut them to varying lengths for whatever weight you want. Put a drop of loc-tite on the threads and screw it in to meet the back of the point let it dry and glue it in the shaft. Good luck..Henry

That, in LW bevel is what I plan to shoot.

Some inserts have a small threaded hole for the proprietary insert weights, but I bought a 6x32 tap at my friendly hardware store and plan on using 2" 6x32 screws with heads cut off and then just trim back to the total weight/insert grains I want.
