I got to admire the Compton's Raffle bows/etc!!
« on: July 28, 2012, 01:38:00 PM »
At our (delayed due to the early July wind storm) Roanoke Valley Traditional Bowmen get together this morning, we got to slobber all over all of the original 1959 Bear archery equipment (quivers, knife set, original Razorheads in package - and that beautiful 1959 Bear bow), as well as the reproduction bow and arrow that were all part of the Compton's raffle that Club member, Randy Brookshire, won.

Talk about getting your monies worth for a raffle ticket!

Thanks, Randy, for the good breakfast, the fun course - only lost two arrows, and damaged one other (a good day!?), and of course, sharing your new toys with us!

BTW, I'll be glad to triple your money if you want to make a profit on your investment  ;) !!

Good for Randy...was wondering where those wound up! Great raffle...probably one of the best I have seen.
