Every time the topic of mocs comes up I feel compelled to offer up this bit of prognostication . You boys are in for an ass busting. Started wearing them back in 81, been on my butt a few times. Finally gave up on the Dyers,Chippewas and any other doubled, heavy soled moc. I now use a thin buckskin pucker toe type moc for my blackpowder events. They let you bend your foot more and get better traction. Just yesterday I was shooting with a group at a 3D shoot and a guy went down wearing a pair of these ass busters. Light rain the night before and the ground a bit "greasy". They'll do the same thing on dry grass. Not any of my business and do what you want, but been there, done that.
