Just curious how most stand up the targets.
Use the stakes or some other clever way?

Get you an 8ft 4x4 cut it in half drill a hole the same size as the rebar through the 4x4 at 2ft. Then drive the rebar in the hole.  Now you have foot and repeat for the other leg. It can be made by weilding the rebar to a peice or angle iron. You be able to use a 3 ft peice of able iron or the 4x4.

Our club takes two 2x6s snd bolts them together to make a V shaped platform that expands and contracts for the different size animals. Then drill and bolt heavy threaded rod into the ends. Slip your target over the threaded rod. This method is very portable allowing the targets to be moved easily.

Thanks guys, just what I was looking for.  And I'm lucky enough to have a brother that's a welder.
