It took him a while to get back to building, but Jim made me a neat T/D I just picked up!  He used an elk shed antler from a burn area in CO with very dark character I found years ago for the tips, and he used it for the palm swell too. It's a really neat design with great character in the wood. Asbell grip.

And footed limbs?   He asked for some creative leeway In upgrades.  It's a lot better looking in person than by iPhone pic, but thought I'd share.  I shot it a bit before it was finished, and it was a very sweet shooter already. Top and bottom lams are almost perfect mirror images throughout.

What model is that? Looks good, even if it does have osage in it.  ;)

Thanks guys. The Josh (oliverstacy) Osage will darken!  It's 47# and shoots like a little rocket. Its a 60" Kajikastik.  I shot it until I was exhausted last night.  I have an Asbell grip and it's very quiet. I made a 450+ padded skinny string for it and it handles so well. I asked him to give me some palm swell for a high wrist and it lays it perfectly in there every time.  I seem to be able to shoot father than I usually do and I'll make some moderately weighted arrows for trajectory.

I just saw a post for loud curves.. Folks who want a quiet, high performance recurve should try a whisperstik.

I just saw one in his shop at about 90# that was ordered.  Wow!  That thing would shoot crazy stiff arrows.

Jim has always made some awesome bows! Glad to see he's back at it again.

Great looking rig you have there! Live the elk handle.

I'll be shooting it a little at Elm Hall shoot this weekend. Man it shoots great, but I can't keep up with it as I get tired!  I ordered another set of lighter target limbs so I don't have to quit!
