longbow grip

are there any tricks to making big hands work with small grip my hand rides up so high that
arrow hits my hand thanks.

Ad aleather grip to it to beef it up....
Are just add a 1/2 wide strip of leather around the grip just under the shelf for your hand to rest under....

I'd also consider how you are holding the grip. One should be able to hold a longbow with a grip with the diameter the size of a broomhandle and not hit their hand if the bow is gripped properly.

Could you post a photo of your grip and where you are hitting? I'm no expert, just a bald dope, but I'd like to see this through.

You can build up the size of the grip with the two part epoxy in the plumbing dept at home depot.  It sands as easy as wood to mold to your hand.

i moved my nock up some the hitting hand went away arrow flight is ok just looks funny so high
up on string i'll try to post pics havn't learned how here yet Ralph
