Spine, GPP, and bow poundage question
« on: August 09, 2012, 08:30:00 PM »
I'm shooting right about 45# @ 27.5" out of a quick r/d longbow. Factoring in FF string, design, and near to center cut, I'm getting good arrow flight with 50/55 spine, 28.5" BOP, and 125 grain points.

My question is about figuring GPP for the set up: do I base the figure on the actual 45" weight, or add poundage to the equation as with figuring correct spine?

Thanks up front for the feedback!

It is based on your draw weight.

It's your actual draw weight divide by weight of the arrow in grains.
