Monarch longbows?
« on: August 11, 2012, 09:08:00 PM »
I've got a chance to pick up a Monarch "Royal"
I've never shot one and was curious what anyone thought of them. I'm not sure when it was made or who built it,Byron,Monty or Ron.Who built the best?I'm going to try and take a look at it this week. Thanks. Nick

Byron taught Chris Landstum also, and Monty,Ron bought it after his death, and no longer builds,Byron started back up under Aspen Longbows but has stop also,The Royal was the same as the imperial but not reinforced for FF.Good bows, owned at least 10 of them..

I visited Chris's shop in Wisconsin when he was building Aspens, but he no longer builds them either.
