All "Winners"
I sent each of you a reminder to pass along address for shipping.
I shipped the chair to steadman last week, and overnight shipping was $120!! Please don't spend that kind of $$$ for shipping. Do the best you can to ship as quickly as possible, but keep it in reason. I ended up shipping ground to steadman for around $20. Fedex said it would take 5-7 days, but I think steadman got the chair in three.
Any questions just pm me.
Thanks again to all participants!

Owlbait,

Please bring your "Old" chair to the Kazoo Trad show so I can see why it's on it's last legs? I've yet to see one in this condition.

We warranty our chair frames for the life of the original customer from manufacture defects. or if I think they need replacing.

Be glad to Scott. It will have debris on it from spending time in the woods though.

I just posted an initial review of the 16" model in the TradGang Product Reviews forum. So far, it's been good to me - killed two turkeys while sitting in it!

If you do another pass around I would love to give it a try!

Tree stand hunting is not pleasant anymore for me & I like sitting in home made ground blinds.

I have not found a good comfortable chair to do it from yet.  I am sure if this chair is as comfortable as it sounds I would end up purchasing one anyway!

Could you guys post your thoughts on this chair and what type of hunting you used it for(blind/ghillie suit etc)? I started hunting this year from the ground with a Bush-NA-Bag and I am in dire need of a new hunting seat. The milk crate I have been using is murder on my backside!

Scott.

Hey guys,

Thanks for all of you giving the new smaller 16" Chair a test drive.

The 16" stand for the size of the bottom seat pad, 16 x 16 x16 VS the original HuntMore which has a bottom seat pad that is 19 x 19 x 19.

Please remember the chair is designed for smaller frame hunters and or shorter sits or deeper hikes in the woods.

Rule of thumb when guys ask me by email. If you're a lighter frame hunter 5' 8" or shorter, women, kids... buy the 16" Chair.

If you sit for less than 2 hours or hike more than a mile in, maybe the 16" is better for you.

Thank you again for your support! Hope to see many of you in Kazoo in 2013!

Are your 19" still out of stock?

Okay, here are some of my thoughts on the chair.

First off, I want to say thank you for the very kind offer to let us all try this chair out.  An incredible gesture.

I will start of with some of the pros.
Probably the best feature of this chair for me was the ability to adjust the legs quickly and quietly for uneven ground.  The large rocker type feet allow the chair to be stable on really steep uneven ground that no other chair comes close to IMHO.  The chair is built like a tank, and I think it would take quite alot to damage the chair.  Previous concerns about how difficult it is to transport the chair really didn't pan out for me.  It is far easier for me to carry this than a treestand.   I found the seat to be pretty easy to setup, without instructions as well.  The seat swivels quite nicely, but  I will get back to that, later.

Now for some cons.
The seat was comfortably enough for me to sit for a few hours tops, but if I was going to sit for longer than that, I would definitely need to bring and extra padded seat or something.  Not that there is any other seat available that accomodates that.
This biggest issue I had was that the seat would make noise when I put weight on my right butt cheek.  I checked the website to see if there was a solution and checked with other using the seat.  Nobody else reported the problem, and adjusting the tension on the strap did nothing.  I finally figured out that it was the strap that connected the seat to the right rear post.  The strap was doubled over and sewn on that side only, and when I shifted my weight it would skip over the ring and make noise.  Not incredibly loud, but certainly enough to scare a deer.  Maybe with my size, it wouldn't happen on the larger version, but I am not sure.  Once again, nobody else reported this problem.  I may eventually order the larger size and give it a go.  Maybe the problem won't be there, and if it is I can make a different connection on that side or something.  Overall a very well build product.

I can't imagine that there is a better chair out there, and if the noise issue wasn't there for me, it would be darn near perfect.  It should really shine in a blind where you need to swivel from window to window for a shot.

I have had a crack at this chair and I like it.
I have never packed a blind or chair while hunting. but after I got this little chair, I found myself taking advantage of being able to move and sit where I needed or wanted to.
The chair is great. I had no issues what so ever.
I will need more time with it to figure out how to use it better to my advantage but that is just my inexperience with any type of chair.

Comfy and stable.
It is a real nice piece of gear.
