There is a 53# in our classifieds now.  From what I understand, this model has been discontinued by Chek-Mate, so stock-on-hand or used are probably your only options.  You might check with Chad at recurves.com (one of our sponsors and a Chek-mate dealer)for more info.  I used to own a 50#'er--nice smooth shooter.

I have one and won't part with it.  Pulls way to easy, smooth is the best description and not lacking in the performance department. They are all 56 inches I believe.  I need to learn to post pics mine is gorgeous, cocobolo riser with black accent lines and glass with matching stained fade outs.  I pleaded for some special considerations and Mark outdid himself.  I bought it in 2003.  I thought it was better than the hunter 2 model that was getting alot of attention back then.
If your shooting stinks, work with a Form master.  It'll bring back your A game.

I had a Firebird and liked it alot. Mine was all Purpleheart with black locust limbs @45lbs. they are very unique looking bows with their belly mounted limbs. I'd like to have another someday in all Greybark. I think it would make a great blind bow.

Thye are nice bows, as said abive no smoker but very quick and can be made to be quiet. Thye are smooth to 30"s with no pinch and very little if any stacking out to 30"s as well. I owned one for years and finally traded it off. Shawn
