Hi,
Looking for advice and guidance for turning something like this....
into something like this....
Was thinking of using a Dremel. Any suggestions of what bit to use, and of how to get the surface behind the broadhead so smooth?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Many Thanks

If I'm trying to flatten something like that, or the mortise for a hidden tang knife, I wish for a mill, but then chuck a square ended Dremel carbide cutter in my drill press. Put the piece to be ground in a drill press vise and run the piece back and forth, deepening the cut a few 100's each pass. Slow, but does wonders for my shaky hands.

Neat idea, but don't try to wear it through an airport. You'll be donating your hard work to a friendly TSA agent.
