Big Jim Blems
« on: August 21, 2012, 05:04:00 PM »
Okay, I bit the bullet. I decided to shooth with my 45 lbs Cari-bow Peregrine carbon arrows and with my 51 lbs Cari-bow Peregrine woodies.

What is the beauty of this? Both woodies and carbons are all 9GPI and have a FOC of around the 10%. So they behave very similar and I have no or little difficulties in switching bows. I test-drove it already.

And yes, I ordered the carbons at Big Jim's. I ordered 3 dozen GT blems at once, making shipping costs relatively lower. I can't wait till they are here. Big Jim will install the inserts.

I wonder if I am his first Dutch customer?

By the way, I build my woodies myself and my new batch is  the best and prettiest I ever made. Pics to follow when they are completely ready...
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

Flying Dutchman, there are lots of archers out there who have yet to register into TG although it's probably only a matter of time.
