I have used the clamps that fit on ATV handle bars. If you do a search for mountain bikes in pow wow you will see some pretty neat innovations.

Yep, ATV gun/bow clamps work great.

x3 ... not a ATV clamps are the same so be sure you know what width your limbs are or take your bow with you when shopping

For me the best way to cary my bow is with one of the finest products on the market today the Bowtote. I use mine all of the time. Check ot bowtote.com.

We use the ATV gun mounts. We also modified a few of the baby bike trailers for gear and treestands

I have since upgraded bikes and can't fit the bow rack on my new bike. Haven't bowhunted from the bike in a few years. I mostly use it for duck and dove hunting with the trailer.

I'm looking at the montana scabbord myself. Some of the trails i would drive down would be pretty narrow so i don't want the bow on my handlebars.

What is that and where did you get it? Looks good for open trails like down in Uwharrie.

I tied a 1/4" rope to the riser of my Buffalo and using a taught line hitch on one end made sling so I can carry it cross shoulder on my back leaving my hands free.

It's one of those bicycle trailers for hawling kids. I dismantled the nylon shell and added the wire shelving base. The base frame is aluminum and the shelving is of course coated steel. The wheels come off for storage. Find them on craigslist for cheap. Got that one for next to nothing. The family I got it from had outgrown it and the family dog was sleeping in it outside.

I tried a couple of different ways to mount it to my handlebars, but didn't like them much. I ended up lashing it to my back pack (horizontally). Never had any issues with it...but I don't ride my bike far either. One mile on most days.

I can't imagine riding with a bow I valued lashed across the handlebars and especially in darkenss and off-road.  I would rather find a way to secure the bow so it is in line with the frame itself---and that is where the problems start.  If anyone figures this out, please post it here.

I use a Kifaru backpack with a bow hook and use there gun strap up around the shoulder strap and it rides real nice right next to my body. But I use a short stabilizer so my bow will stay put on the bow hook.
