string question for a new bear grizzly
« on: August 26, 2012, 08:13:00 PM »
Just bought a new Grizzly made this year and was wondering if it is like the older versions when it comes to strings.

Fast flight ready or no?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Craig   :)

Does it have the red wood in the riser? If it does then I don't think it is FF compatible. Im about 95% certain on that. The other ones have the phenolic tips and are FF compatible. I have the red riser and I was told not to use one on it. I use a Dacron string and it can send an arrow pretty quick. Hope this helps.

It does help because I do have the one with the red riser.

Thanks for the help Caleb.
