Dressed up the new Widow
« on: August 31, 2012, 11:17:00 AM »
My wife got me a PSA V for our wedding in April.  I finally got it dressed up!

Specs are 60", 52# @ 28, I draw 29.5.

I dressed her up with a Kanati Pro Angle, stock string with bow hush and wool puffs, and two nocking points.

She's a sweet shooter.  I was playing around in the yard with some judos this morning shooting at a whiffle ball.  This was 45 yards.

Of course I can't do that every time, but it's still encouraging!

It seems like when I'm off I'm off to the left a bit.  Not sure if it's my bow arm collapsing, torque, release, or arrow tune.  I'm shooting a 31" Heritage 250 with 125 up front.

I leave for CO archery elk next Thursday and had planned to use the wheelie as my primary, but as good as this one shoots I'm seriously thinking about using it.
It ain't the bow, it's the Indian behind it.

Very nice!
Good luck for your hunt. I am sure the Widow can do the job very well.

If the amount you miss by isn't worse or consitently worse at long range than it is you.  45 yards, only that far left, it loks to me like you are ready.  God Bless

Nice bow and quiver!

If I'm hitting left, it's usually from short drawing or not anchoring close enough to the side of my face.

Nice bow, nice pictures.  The only thing missing is an elk in the background.  Looks like the bow and you are ready for it.

And you did a nice job, too.
A wheelie what? Why?

Good looking set up.  I picked up the identical quiver and am liking how quiet and well made it is.
