Longbow days of summer (pixs)
« on: September 03, 2012, 03:48:00 PM »
As the summer is coming to a end, The days are getting shorter and colder, As the hint of fall in the air,Big group of birds heading south, gets Make me thinking aboout a few things, First off hunting season is just a few short weeks away. Then which bows and arrows, I'd like to hitt the woods with this season, So like most days I'll take one of my many bows off the rack and go shoot a few rounds. But for the pass few weeks Ive been playing around with a bow Ive fallin in much love with(P.S dnt tell my flance    :bigsmyl:   ) Anyways i'll be hitting the woods with my John D. Lee longbow, The green and yellow glass, The yew and bamboo core, Make for a true love story, This little bow can holdup to any type of shooting I do.. Anything from targets to shooting flying targets from the air or rabbits on the run, This little slim sweetheart gets it done, I now know why Mr.Hill loved this style bow, I also am planing on taking it to the Gang Hill hog hunt in Feb...

Pic from today...

Send me the specs of that John Lee so I can put it on the list.

Hey, is Traditional Bowyer Supply still doing business there in Charlotte?  It has been quite a few years since I last looked them up for a few things.  I grew up in Portland.
