Thanks to all, no longer skinning bows...
« on: September 03, 2012, 03:49:00 PM »
I am no longer able to skin bows. This sucks, but it is what it is. For now anyway.
I'm wrapping up all current bows.
Thanks to everyone, its been an absolute blast. I've skinned about 175 bows give or take, met an INCREDIBLE bunch of people, and wish more than anything I could keep this up. My health and personal life issues have dominated, I have to put 100% into getting myself better and taking care of my family.
With a temporary(I hope) tear in my eye, I've got to step away.
Everyone, shoot well, breathe in the autumn air, and love life. If I can get my own life back together, I'll be here again to share my passion for all things that are wild.

Thanks for all you've passed along to me. I'm sure many will be disappointed at your departure from such a skill. Best wishes!

Focus on your health and family and the skinning will return if meant to be.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Hope everything works out for you David. I appreciate the copperhead skins I won on St Judes auction that you donated. Get well.

I will be praying for you as well. It takes a good man to do this for his family.
