ILF and Quivers
« on: September 05, 2012, 05:22:00 PM »
Thinking about a Dryad ILF with the ACS limbs, was wondering what kind of quiver can be mounted on the ILF bow? Not sure if the Limb bolt type would work.
Thanks

Limb bolt will not work but a strap on works fine.  Also we can put inserts in for a bolt on style if you like.

A Great Northern quiver with ILF adaptors would work.
Todd Henck Longbow 68" 58#@28"
Dave Johnson Longbow 66" 60#@27"
Northern Mist Ramer 64" 50#@27"
Northern Mist Classic 68" 52#@28"

IFL metal Morrison with Eagles Flight strap on.  For me, very light plus quiets the bow down...tippit

New 4 arrow plus 1 blunt EFA...

EFA 3 arrow...

I would go with riser inserts personally. I use a strap on for my longbows and it works fine with the titan set up. but  I really like the kwikee quiver.  cheap in cost, light weight and works just like its suppose to

GN strap on works for me.  So do the EFA quivers.

Ive got a similar EFA to tipit on my DAS DX5 too.  Agree on quieting the bow.

Check out the new Kanati Dual ARC Strap on, very easy off and on, quiet and light weight, I haven't tried them all but I have tried quite a few and It's definitely my favorite.  RW

I third the nomination on the Eagles Flight quiver. One of the best quivers—and bow silencers—ever.

I will second a strap on Kanati slim jim. This is on my hoyt buffalo and I leave it on. It works great for me and even handles my "new" Kodiak grizzly 170gr heads.

I've tried a few and I love great Northerns and big Jim's strap on but on an ILF the proven Kwikee Quiver rules in my opinion

In fact I have three of them at Scott Teaschner's getting covered in some Cape Buffalo skin  from a Bull I shot

Great simple quivers

This is not mine

I have one coming in black leather and 2 in Cape Buffalo but here is an exampleILF Scott's work in a basket weave pattern

I feeL the Kwikee is a perfeCt platform

No silly foam to wear out etc. Here is a close up before they where shipped out for the leather cover . I will post up the after shots when done
