I do extended days in a number of ways..

I am liable to come in at 9 and set till 3, or I may hunt all day from as many as three different setups, taking a quick breather during the change, or I have been known to set all day.. Just depends on me, the weather and what is going on.

We hunt all day.  On the ground with binos and scopes.  Looking for morning and evening movement and at mid day glassing shadows.  When i hunted Va, PA and NC i agree with rut times all day, and other times getting down for an hour.
This thread brings back some great memories

I have done it before and will do it again.  Many times in the early season.  But, what I consider a blessing is hunting big woods.  Nobody says you gotta set the same place all day.  When I wantta move, I move.  When sleepy I nap, when boored I get to wandering.  Killed alot of deer just "feeling" it around in the woods all day.

I guess if my only option was setting a stand all day farm hunting it would be work.  But our camps are not Hilton's, and I can sleep in the woods as easily as a bed.  I look forward to walking in and out in the dark.  That desire alone many times results in being in camp early with a filled tag.  Start walking 2-4 miles one way to your hunting grounds and you'll be the sameway.  God Bless
Psalm 25:3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: Let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
