Oh, absolutely. Like Dogboy, I'm always telling myself "one more round" ....yea, right. My son and I were shooting the other night and I said  "this is it, last round", we shot, he said, WHOOPS, can't end on that one, then "arrrg, gotta go one more time" 5 or so rounds later, when we couldn't see anymore, we quit.

Even the dog looks at us funny sometimes.

Took the words out of my mouth. My bride has heard that 1000's of times. Too much fun to quit when things are looking good. I got shooting in the yard last year before a afternoon deer hunt and was late to my stand!

I did this every night last winter in my basement. But right now, I'm down to 2-3 times a week, outside. When I'm in the zone, I just keep shooting.

I envy those who say. Only the first arrow counts! And practice that way. Only shooting one arrow. I not only find it IMPOSSIBLE but  sheer torture to deprive yourself of shooting many many many arrows while the time permits...

I will tell my wife I'm just gonna shoot a few and most of the time its alright to be shooting an hour or so later. It's when we have to go do something that my wife tells my daughter to come and get me. She says "Dad we gotta go you need to come in and get ready."  I tell her " just a few more."  This goes on a few rounds and finally will I'm pulling arrows out the Target, I turn and find my bow not there. Then my daughter comes back outside and says " I told you Mom said its time to go!" When I get inside I find my bow hanging on the bow rack. That's when I know its time to quite for the day.
