I shot with a tab when I started.  Then I switched to a Damascus glove.  Then I gave up archery for about 8 years.

I started shooting again in June and started out with my tab, bought a new Damascus glove, went back to the tab, and am now using a Bear Paw glove that I absolutely LOVE.

I'm not sure why, but I seem to "slap" my face with a tab.
Shooting a vintage Bear Grizzly makes me smile.

Get a BackFortyGear Ultra tab... models for both 3under (I have and use one) and split finger.

I've been shooting with a glove for years and recently switched to a tab, however my shots became very inconsistant and I wasn't shooting any groups.  Last night I switched back to a glove and immediately started shooting accurate and consistant again.  I think for me, with a glove the leather is thinner and I can feel the string better and feel more in tuned with the bow.  With a tab (well the one I have) there is much more padding and I'm not able to get a good release.  Could be a lack of practice with the tab, but since hunting season is just around the corner I'll stick with my glove until after season. Maybe I'll try the tab again after the seasons over.
