Bow reproduction ?
« on: September 15, 2012, 05:45:00 PM »
May sound like a silly question, but ive got an old no name longbow that just seems to work for me, and ive often wondered how it could be replaced if it ever failed.
Are there any builders that could take the dimensions and design from the original and make a reproduction of it?

Any good boyeur could make an exact copy of your bow, there are some that specialize in just that.

Copying your bow would mean making a new form and figuring out what "stacks",would get you where you wanted to go.If you are a person of unlimited financial resources,I would say"go for it".

If not,I would say, check out all the makers and get the next best thing.
