Good shafts. They will sometimes crack at the nock end if you hit something hard. I'm going to try the collars 3rivers sells on my next batch. I use fletch tape for fletching and epoxy for the inserts. No problems with either one.
They make a good weight hunting arrow.

Great shafts !!! My only complaint is the nocks are fairly loose in the shafts. I use nock adapters and glue on nocks instead of the factory ones.

Jwilliam- The white GT nocks work great inhit the nail the heritage shafts, they don't grab the string near as tight.

I love the shafts! Longbowwally hit the mail on the head too. Other than the tip splitting out occasionally they are amazingly tough IMHO.

Ditto on above comments!! I switched to GT flo green nocks, nice fit.Easton uni nocks will also work.A little more snug fit though. Use fletch tape over one stringer wraps and epoxy for inserts. Works great no issues here.

I have to disagree with the nock fitting issue. Heck I almost have to use a pair of pliers to rotate mine. I have had 4 dozen over the past two years and I really like the stock nocks. They are much tighter in the shaft than the Gold tip arrows nocks that I also have.

I use Ferr-L-tite hot melt on my inserts. Never had an issue with points coming out. I do a lot of tinkering so I really like this about these shafts. The hot melt wont hold in the gold tip shafts and I like to be able to take them out just by heating the points.

They are also heavier gpi's across the board to similar spined GT shafts. With the ability to hot melt in your inserts the tight nock fit, and the heavier gpi it all adds up to a fantastic hunting arrow.

I love them and with the nocks I just heat the end a little and press them on a flat surface and perfect,,, as far as the nocks tight fit a standard broadhead file put into the string nockand then rip the file out thru its whole length creates a perfect snap,, like denny's in the shoot instinct better#2 video.

I use fletch tite glue over one stringers wraps, I use 5-minute epoxy on the inserts (brass and aluminum.

had one crack but it was my stump arrow,, I used 5 minute epoxy and while spinning the shaft I just went around the crack with heavy thread (like tying on a fishing pole eye) and then coated wioth the epoxy and even after hitting solid oak trees it still hasn't broke.

I tried all brands and keep coming back to heritage,, Gold tips where the worse with all different spine delfections from each doz..

For me they are the best carbon arrow:very consistent in spine and weight,though as nail,good hunting weight.
Like TJ I don't see any problem in the nock and by far I prefere to glume my insert with hot met,this give me the opportunità to change as many broadheads weight as I like and use them on different bows. I really rarely loose one point in the targets.
For fletching fletch tite on Onestringer wraps or alone.

I wasn't talking about the actual nock fit to the arrow. I was talking about the nock fit into the string. The nock fit in the Arrow is very tight.

They are the best carbons for me hands down . For nock fit to the string ,use a little sand paper to open it up a bit if it's too tight. I use fltetchtite platinum over one stringer wraps and have had great luck using plain old crazy glue gel for the inserts . They stay put, but a little heat on my tips can take em right out if needed .

Maybe I got a bad batch of nocks or something. Because the nocks turned in the shafts very easy, were not tight at all as TJ stated above.  Might just have to order some replacement ones.

Like I said before, I used nock adapters and glue on nocks to solve my problems. Great shafts, and tough  as nails !!!

I like how the stock nocks fit my skinny string.
