Great little trail camera for the money.

Hey Guys.  I've been using a Spypoint Tiny D camera for a couple weeks.  It retails for $200.  I gotta say that for the money its hard to beat.  It takes pictures or video.  Has burst mode and all that.  But the real beauty is the sensors on it.  It has side sensors as well as a sensor in the center. I tested it alot before putting it out in the woods and nothing gets by it without getting a pic.  Not only that but it has like 32 LED's or somthing like that so the range on it is excellent.  Spypoint makes a bunch of different cameras.  Some look great.  Some not so great in my opinion.  But if I only had $200 to spend on a trail camera, this one would be at the top of the list.  Also, just to test customer service I called them and got a person on the line right off the bat!  Check them out if you are looking for an affordable trail camera.

By the way guys.  If you are looking at spypoint cameras...they make alot of different models.  Make sure you really check them out before you decide on one.  Alot of cameras have slower trigger speeds these days.  I'm not sure why that is.  If you are going to use the camera on a food plot or bait or something like that...a 2 second trigger may be just fine.  But in Illinois we cannot use bait or anything.  So I really do not care for cameras that have a trigger speed of less than 1 second or so.  This camera has about a 1 second trigger speed.  But because of the additional sensors, nothing gets by it.  It basically detects deer in nearly 180 degrees.  It is very easy to use, and I am very pleased with it so far.  Spypoint has alot of innovative cameras.  
    I know not everyone here likes the use of trail cameras.  And I am of the opinion that they may come to a point where the technology has gone too far.  But for now..the way most of them are...I don't feel like I'm cheating by using them.  I do get alot of enjoyment out of using them.  This is a great camera for the money in my opinion.

I have been looking at the Spypoint cams. Thanks for the info. It will be a project for next year tho because I had all of mine stolen this year   :mad:  not sure if it was by a human or bears    :confused:

Roundbal, I can pretty much assure you...you will not be dissapointed with the Tiny D model.  I have not messed with any of the other cameras they make, but have been very impressed with this little beauty.  If I had the money I would not hesitate to buy more of them.  
   Having said that, I just today bought a Covert Black 90.  This is also a relatively inexpensive trail camera and has some great features.  Probably the best thing is the black light deal.  It does absolutely nothing when it takes a picture or video.  But this little spypoint camera has some features that I really wish the covert had.  The Black 90 is pretty new...so I'll post about it in a few weeks after I have tested it enough.
