Quiver Spacer Leaving Marks on Riser
« on: September 20, 2012, 12:24:00 PM »
I'm using a kwikee quiver on one of my wood recurves. There is a little black rubber spacer that comes with the quiver that mounts between the quiver and the riser. When I took the quiver off, I noticed the riser is stained black in this area fom the rubber spacer. Any suggetions on how to remove this?

Thank you

Its a soft rubber so I would just rub it with your finger and it should pill up and come off.

I have the same issue with a Kanati Slim Jim quiver I bought at the Kalamazoo show in February. I left it on my longbow for a couple of weeks and when I took it off, I found stains in the finish. Won't rub out and appears that if I want it gone, I would have to sand and refinish. Very disappointing, since this is a longbow I've had a long time and these marks are not pretty.

Mine wont rub out either. It actually looks like it was painted on. Very strange
