Burlap Targets, no longer being made?
« on: September 21, 2012, 03:54:00 PM »
Has anyone else noticed that most of the all weather burlap targets are out of stock on many of the internet sites? (Deer/mule deer/antelope/elk/etc.)

I finally gave up trying to find the ones I wanted and made my own (not as good, but will do the job). Any ideas as to why there is such a shortage?

Thanks,
Matthew

Check out a company named AMES. They make faces and bags. I had one for four years before it wore out. They must have started making them out of cheaper looser burlap. They aren't as good any more. Have one for one season and I'm getting big holes and torn fibers. I bet there not being carried bacause of how inexspensive they are compared to foam targets. Lots of guys here also go to local feed stores and pick up bags.
