Reviews Great Northeern Bushbow, Arrowmaster, VPA broadheads
« on: September 22, 2012, 09:36:00 AM »
I n a previous post I mentioned that I was successful on an elk hunt. I can't say enough about these items that made the hunt a success.
The Great Northern Bushbow is a delight to shoot and easy to carry thru the wilderness ion horseback and while hiking.. At 55lbs it had plenty of punch to humanely harvest this bull and accomodated my long draw very well.
The Arrowmaster held five GT 55/75's with BH's and one 55/75 with a judo point the entire week without being loud, without the arrows bouncing around. It was easy to move from my shoulder to my side wqhile ridng to get thru the timber. The pocket had my arm guard and glove at easy access also. It is an awesome pice of equipment.
VPA 250gr. three blade BH, are basically a surgical instrument. They lived in the Arrowmaster all week, were rained on, on the ride in. All I did was touch them up with a jewel stick and when the time came they did their job. I can't descrbe The amount of blood coming out of the animal, but I can email a few graphic pics to anyone who might weant to see them.
I will never go on an archery hunt without any of these three items. Fantastic equipment.

Congratulations on your hunt. If you don't mind, what is your draw length and the length of the Bushbow.

I draw 32" and the Bushbow is 64". No finger pinch. I was shooting a Hill Wesley Special but I was concerned about it's length and ho I was going to get it thru the brush on horseback. The Bushbow has the jackknife option.
