Well, It's certainly been a while....

I've been hunting, but Cade has not been out since the last hunt reported here before Thanksgiving.

He's still practicing and is looking forward to a few days of hunting after Christmas.

Westchester is the only thing open now for deer. We have Thursday-Monday to hunt and try to finish up the season strong.

I'm hoping he gets one more chance, and it would be great if it's a buck!

Anyway, the next few days we'll practice plenty and be ready for later on this week.

We shoot off the deck standing on a bench to simulate the confines of a treestand.

A great, fun practice session.

Waiting on the Granddaughter to wake up this morning,,, I skimmed through this entire thread.

Great stories of a Father and Son. Just fantastic all around.

I have a comment and something for Cade to think about...

Get as many down as you can before your sister has time to catch up!  :saywhat:
