4 fletch

I've been a proponent of 4-fletch for years and guess what... I'm now shooting threes. After many, many dozens of shots I noticed that my target showed misses a lot more on the right of center than left. Got out my Adcock. Then started fiddling. Long story short, I dropped a feather and shortened my wraps and voila. Bam. That's 5575's @ 30.5" and 175 gr up front. A full length 3555 with 145 grs 4-fletched or with 125gr 3-fletched flies exactly the same for me. I consider it fine fine tuning that's only visible after lots and lots of impact holes. My new target shows pretty equally divided misses.

Also, I'm in a period of monetary impairment, so the 25% cut in feather expenditures doesn't hurt, either.

four 5" banana really helped me out. Bought the cutter from 3RA. They are really quiet as well

Been using 4-4" shield cut on almost all my arrows for years now. A friend showed me this, gave it a try, and never looked back. Great flight and stability with field pts and broadheads.

I've used 4 4" for 10 years +.  I really like them.

what configuration do you guys like and why..Im playing with 90x90 with nock at 45 and 60x120 and nock at 0 and 75x105 and nock at 90  and I still cant seem to get perfect arrow flight..seems I have to still adjust my nock placement some to clear my shelf..I have used 3 to 5" feathers...would like to use 4 fletch but Im still unsure

Sorry to get back so late!

Four feathers, 90deg from each other, so a "+" shape for lack of better visual.  My fletching vise had the 90deg key, 120deg key and the 105/75deg key with it, so I just changed out the detent key and fletch away!

I oriented them as an "X" shape on the shelf with minimal impact issues (they were only 3.5" long, and put within 0.5" of the nock, so plenty of clearance).  

I also tried the 105/75 for a while, and they flew good too - a lot easier to orient on the self, I angled them so that one set of two was just off the shelf's edge looking at the rear and two were toward the shelf's upright.  Never had clearance issues with that setup even up to 5.5" bananas.

As for shooting the 4 X 3.5" feathers with broadheads they shoot great. Shot a nice tom turkey last week and pinwheeled him. The shot was actually "pretty" if you know what I mean. It was like the arrow was seeking out the wing butt of that bird. I felt as good about that shot and the arrow flight as any shot I have ever made. Made me feel good (and young). Old farts will understand my last statement.
