Harold Whitley?
« on: September 28, 2012, 10:40:00 PM »
Anyone know Harold? He lives across the street from me and is going to teach me to make a self bow. So far he has had some INTERESTING stories about the old days of hunting with a bow. Seems to be quite the historian as well. Reminds of listening to my uncle Frank Redstone (long since passed away). He was a full blood Assiniboine who could spread a yarn not to mention hunt and fish.

I've known Harold since the early 1970's. Please send me his postal address. I'd like to write him a letter to touch bases with him again. Thanks.

Will do Gene. I'll probably be talking to him today or tomorrow. He doesn't do the internet of course. Still reads the paper (at the library). He walks all over town. I gave him my Uncle Franks Diamond Willow cane as he always has a walking stick with him. I told him this was harder than God's forehead and he could bop someone with it if they gave him any crap.LOL
