NIce kill. I've shot deer in the same spot with the exit coming out at the armpit. Like you I find little blood. I think that is so because the skin in that area is so loose it actually makes for a "floppy" exit hole and slides over the skeletal and muscular area that the arrow head cuts. Good job and enjoy the dinners.

It's 50@28, I have a 30+" draw. To be accurate, I have to shoot it with the cock feather in, if it's out....it sucks.
