They exist

My buddy and I went up in the hills to hang some tree stands. We slept on the ground at the pickup and listened to Elk all night barking and mewing, they carried on till somewhere around 7:00 am as we were headed out the ridge. Then a couple hours later while croosing through a seep a 6pt bull got up out of his bed about 60 yards away and stood there for a bit before ambling off. Still in velvet.
Good time was had.

Hey JC, it's gonna be a short season for me this year, ha about 3 days. It's off to Alaska for 3 weeks. So with much luck I may put one in the freezer but that ain't much time.
I take that back Mike and I decided we need to punch a tag. We are going to backpack in, if we do get lucky we will go back and get the horses and take stands camp and meat out in one shot. Otherwise it is camp and stands steps etc on our backs. Ouch!
Please please please oh Lord
Haha
