Make sure you shoot broadheads before you hunt; but it looks like yer doing fine!        
                     
 I started out with traditional equipment - in the days before compounds; and your only going to get better and better. I am excited for you; as I remember my first hunts.

I am 17 days and a wake up from bow season  :)

yeah I figured I was using some pretty heavy shafts. But they work really good. I have been shooting my broadheads with them and they fly pefectly.

 I went by a spine chart on eastonarchery.com for a 29" arrow on a 45# recurve with a 150 grain tip

Nice shooting! I was just starting to feel good about my shooting and along comes ol' Fred Bear Jr. to give me a case of Shooting Envy!! Nice gear too! Good luck this season. Shoot straight and be safe!  :clapper:

Good shootin!!!  A 30 lb. bow would've killed her real dead with those shots.

Hey bud I shot 2117 out of my bears ,They were only 45# and they shot awsome,,To stiff is better than to weak but havin it right is great,,Great shooting and hope you get your shot this season,,Would this be your first deer with archery?
