Bear Paw feather chopper
« on: October 10, 2012, 09:58:00 PM »
Did a search and find nothing on these scince 2010. Has anyone had the use of one yet?

In 2010 they were having trouble wondering if things have improved at all.

I played with one years ago. It was very cumbersome to use. If you're looking for a good chopper the Vario is sweet.

I have one that works intermittently, at best.  Sometimes the feathers cut the first time, somtimes it takes 2 or 3 tries-then the feathers look pretty crappy.  I've gone back to my Young's burner, all the feathers are the same-length, height, shape.

I bought one when they first came out and sent it back because it never cut the feather all the way through.
