Red Feather Archery's "Talon" strikes
« on: October 14, 2012, 08:30:00 PM »
I had the chance to get out after some cottontails the other day. It was a very relaxing hunt, and a whole lotta fun.

I used the "Talon" from Red Feather Archery on the tip of my Douglas Firs. A very tough, well built head I have to say. It did a good job on these bunnies.

I love the RFA talons. I have the screw ins for my aluminums.  Awsome heads, great people to do business with and you can sharpen them.  Glad to see they worked out well for you

Nice mess of "Waskilly Wabbits", Shed. I wish Indiana's season came in a little sooner. I see rabbits all over the place between August and October and when season rolls around in November, they become almost non-exsistent. Congrats on some fine table fare.

I love my Talons for sure...and agree Stan does a great job with them. I stuck a squirrel to the top of a dead Beech tree with one the other day.   :banghead:   Now I just gotta figure out how to get the arrow back, or just the Talon head would be fine with me...LOL!
