Arrow rest noise
« on: October 16, 2012, 09:26:00 AM »
My leather arrow rest on my longbow makes a slight hissing sound when I draw.....not good when a deer is under you! What do you recommend to silence this noise?

Wood shaft? If so steel wool your arrow also...smooth is more silent! Velcro is cheap and works well.

I will try to find some Locktight 495. Is there any other kind of leather treatment that will solve this problem without having to change my arrow rest?
