Help identifying Bear Montana, please.
« on: October 24, 2012, 09:01:00 PM »
Hello all, thank you in advance for any help you may provide.

I just picked up a used Bear Montana.

I have not seen another one like it.

Any info you could provide would be awesome (Value, materials etc.)

I guessing by the grip that it's a newer one....but I have never seen one with a laminated riser or Zebra wood lams.....I like it! If they made more like that they would sell a lot more of them than they do.....! I had 2 Montana's and they shot great!

Thank you Ron!

I have found a couple of Commemorative Montanas that look similar, but they said so on the limbs and have a compass inlaid.

I seriously doubt I have anything special, but I cant find another that looks like it.

Thank you Eric. It would appear it is a 2007 model as well.

Sorry, I don't have a clue. I only knew what it was because in 2007 it was a toss up between that or a PLGA from Black Widow.

Unfortunately I  don't. I was a substantial increase over the basic price though. Are you looking to sell already or curious if you got a deal?

Curious if I got a deal. The guy would not budge off $375 until I showed him the MAP price of a new one. I got it for $300 even.
