Which limb is bottom and top??

Got a new set of ILF wood limbs for my Dorado and not sure which limb is bottom and which is top. I wont say the manufacturer but one limb is marked 45# at the base of the limb on the belly and the other limb is naked. Thanks!

usually the bottom limb is the one marked with poundage at the base of the limb

Don't know if mine were mis-marked or not, but they shot better when I reversed them.(they WERE marked as to top and bottom) Just sayin'

normally the writing will be upright when the bow is upright.

sometimes the bottom limb tip will be more squared off with the top tip more pointy...maybe not as common on ILF bows...

From what i understand, and i am NOT a authority on ILF, it does not matter as the tiller is set by the limb bolt adjustment and not the limb strength as bolt down or one peace bows are. Just as Zradix said put them on so you can read the writing.

I think wtpops probably solved this one.  My ILF longbow limbs are "switchable".
