Trad shooters in eastern westvirginia
« on: October 31, 2012, 11:55:00 AM »
I'm moving back to West Virginia in a few weeks and wanted to know if there was any trad guys in the eastern pan handle who would want to get together and share hunts and fellowship with one another. I have 10 acres with access to 90000 acres with plenty of deer, bear, turkey, and other critters. Thanks Don   :archer2:

Hey Don, I live way down in FL, but I gotta say, WV is amazingly full of Deer!!  We usually drive from Florida up to Penn and take the scenic route through WV and we see more deer in that state than we can count!

Slanesville in Hampshire county about 45 min west of Winchester va. Point pleasant? That's moth man country!  Lol. I do have an awesome place to hunt in Cabins westvirginia that's kinda half way from one another. I even have a place to stay there.  Tired of doing it alone been hunting by myself for years and have some really good spots to hunt and would like to share. And I'm not a jealous guy if you kill the world record I want to help drag it out. Take care. Don

I have a friend Josh who goes by jrbows who lives in Mathais and I live in the Vally about 65 miles south of Winchester so we're  not that far apart. Welcome back to the area.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Mathias,Wv ran many ah bear down there too! All of us have to try and meet in the middle say like around  Snow Shoe or  Cass ,wv and get some hunting in. Maybe next year we all can put something together and do like a primitive hunting camp and live off the land for a few days.  Don
