Ive always passed up the bucks with broken antlers but this year I have pictures of a nice 5x5 and his main beam was broke off in the middle of Oct. I will shoot him if I get the chance as I have found the broke off part, it was only 50 yards from my blind.

A 8.5 yr old that was on the way down hill busted G_3 My only busted or unique buck.
